In January 2014 I traveled to the Dominican Republic with a team of Interactive Media graduate students from Elon University. We worked with Cambiando Vidas, a non-profit that builds homes for deserving families in rural communities, to rebrand their company and build a new website. Our time in the DR was used to collect all content needed for the site, including video, photographs and interviews. We were given two weeks to edit all of the content and launch the website. We built the site using a WordPress template so that the team at Cambiando Vidas could easily update the content as needed. My primary roles were as a photographer and a CMS developer.
